Lamb Spit BBQ - SEMAPHORE

Went to Semaphore to check out Greek Festival.  Way too busy for us so went to Lamb Spit BBQ for greek food and chips.  Even though a busy place, we ordered and then had the food served in about 8 minutes, very good service.  Lamb souvlaki was well cooked, tender and tasty.  My mixed seafood yiros was well cooked, and a nice difference from lamb or chicken.  Friendly staff

Worst customer service ever. Wouldn’t come back even if I loved the food. So beyond rude and he even swore at me when he over charged us. Disgusting.

Minute wait on a Tuesday night. Tasteless, soggy, pale fish and average chips. Shoulda gone to sottos.

For what they pay off is tiny, but the yiros is not bad

Let me paint a picture for them - it was the first warm Monday of the early and people flocked to dinner. the patrons flooded on the pavement for a yiros or a few chips. a brave blonde who was with a few high school boys was the theke. command to get out as fast as the deep friier would leave her. Something got me the eye - a delicious kalamata olives. I couldn't help but ask for one. not only have I received one that contained a divine behind the counter, a when of them in my order. I will never go back to another yiros or chip shop. and my children neither. or my still born grandchildren.
