Cafe Sa Mina - Selva

Turned up at just gone 14:00, cafe open til 15:00. Excellent friendly service, fabulous coffee and quick. A refreshing change so far for Mallorca !!

Walked though to Biniamar from Lloseta on a Sunday evening to the sound of a great live band playing outside Cafe Sa Mina. When we arrived there were no seats free (apart from one reserved table) either directly outside or in the square opposite so we went inside and ordered a drink directly from the bar. On enquiring about a meal we were told 'no seats and food is finished '. We went back outside, sat on a wall and listened to a couple of songs by the band whilst enjoying our drinks. Left after 15 mins partly due to the number of sideways glaces from other customers (had we crashed their private village party). Whilst walking home some two and a half hours later (after dinner somewhere else) we passed Sa Mina and discovered food still being served and lots of tables free. Admittedly our Catalan isn 't the best and the staff had been busy, but we felt like we 'd been brushed off as an inconvenience earlier in the evening. Award two stars, as the band were great and the bar is situated in a lovely village square.

Personal muy agradable y amable He comido un lomo con muy buen queso, pan crujiente y queso bien fundido. también tienen pasteles y una terraza muy agradable. Esta noche había música en vivo

He tomado un pedazo de tarta de zanahoria y un lacao. ese ricoooo rico :d el lugar es muy acogedor y muy agradable chicas. la plaza es pequeña y acogedora. Volveré.

Un lugar encantador y tranquilo, exelentes tapas los fines de semana, conciertos en vivo los sábados.
