Der Susse Lower - Seligenstadt

In the freezing temperatures yesterday, Der Susse Lower was heaven! We had great coffee and cakes, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed sitting in the sun by the window and warming up with coffee and sweet treats.

Wir sind oefters dort: und immer wieder ein Genuss.We visit this place often: and its always a pleasure. If you like sweets, icecream or an excellent cake "Torte" with delicous coffee, you shouldnt miss this small place.We also can recommend the "Breakfast" in a wide variety.

I'm so in love with all the sweet treats in this award winning confectionery! My husband loved the Mohnkuchen (Poppy seed cake with Jamaican rum) to bits and my mango tart was just divine! The sorbets are highly recommended too, esp on a warm spring day.

It is not just ice cream, we have never had ice cream in there. We live quite near Seligenstadt so go there often, and the cakes are wonderful and so is the hot chocolate - I think it is the best hot chocolate I have ever had. The staff are very nice too. The only problem is it is often hard to get a place to sit there because it is rather small, but then the cakes can be taken away too.
