Pizzeria Caveau Valencia - Sélestat

We chose this restaurant because it opened for dinner at 6:30 pm. Every other place we tried was closed till 7:00 pm on a Saturday night. We ordered a pizza, a calzone with two side salads. The salads were fresh and tasty with a mild vinegrette dressing. The food came out freakishly fast, maybe ten minutes after we ordered. The pizza was cooked fine with a crispy thin crust. The calzone 's crust was partially burned, with a black spot larger than a quarter. The filling was not piping hot, just warm. One of the ingredients was oeuf , which we knew meant egg. We couldn 't imagine an egg in a calzone. After a few bites we found the egg in the middle. Neither the yolk or the white were cooked at all. They were barely warm. This may be typical in this area but we did not like it. Service was friendly. We were in and out in less than an hour. Food and a shared bottle of water cost 25€.

We went there on the evening of the music party with intense heat the room is in the basement and brings a very pleasant fraicher feel when we return the reception is very nice we opted for pizzas and we enjoyed the quality the whole is good at very correct prices

Very good reception but it doesn't catch up with what we had in the plate ... cooking classes at a pizzaïolo are required to have a pizza paste " correct" and tomato sauce that has taste (it was a little to guess that it was tomato and fresh ingredients because everything is frozen, big disappointment! Pepper no taste, chorizo whisk just hot and not cooked or grilled because the dough does not allow proper cooking otherwise it is carbonized. short a serious question and I ask myself one: do the restaurant managers taste their dishes to judge their quality??????? beer must be cut to water as well because lack of sparkling and aromas. disappointed
