As the camp director of Kids N Technology, I'm always on the lookout for hands-on experiences that kids can benefit from during their time at university. The lessons on agriculture and sustainability were incredibly insightful and truly made the classroom experience come alive! A big thank you to Moo Jesus for all your hard work in training.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, thanks to the wonderful staff. It's definitely worth taking the time to stop by. While I don't know the owners personally, my assessment is purely based on my visit, free from bias. It's possible that the owners might not even be aware of this review. They have a lot on their plates and may struggle to answer the phone at times, so a little patience goes a long way. I don't think it's fair to give a one-star rating just because they couldn't pick up the phone when you called. They manage the establishment themselves and are often busy with the daily operations, which may explain the missed calls. Don't let the negative one-star reviews discourage you from visiting; meet these lovely people and enjoy the great experience they have to offer!
Have heard of this place for a few years and decided to check it. I have placed my order online and within minutes had an email from Gina confirmed my order on pickup the next day. I had a wonderful time to talk to Gina and her husband, and can wait?t to place my next order with them! Everything is so fresh and tasty. I told everyone about this place and I checked it out.
I just learned about Moo Jesus the day before our trip to Austin. I called Gina and then wrote. She doesn't keep her phone on her when we got closer, I called her husband's number. He answered and gave the phone to Gina. She said she was available and she should come over! We had a nice visit with her, her son Moses, and a young lady who was there otherwise. We got our gallon milk and Moses also filled the cooler with ice. Yes, it is $24 for your first gallon (with the $10 bottle deposit), but it is DELICIOUS and you help a wonderful thing. The next time we stop DEFINITELY! I am happy to try their other products!
I fully intended to contribute my fair share, which would have included what I normally pay plus the additional fee for the glass milk bottles. However, I'm uncomfortable offering a "donation" that aligns with my budget when their recommendation is so steep. The milk costs $14 per gallon but is sold in half-gallon jugs at $5 each, amounting to $24 for a gallon on the first purchase. (Subsequent purchases using the reusable bottles drop the price back to $14 per gallon.) While I understand that they support a ministry and that operating costs come into play, it feels disingenuous to promote a donation model with a large "NO PRICES!" notice on their website and then surprise customers with such high costs when ordering. If they intend to charge these rates, it would be more straightforward to display the prices on their website and provide a rationale for them, explaining why the products are worth the cost. Their current approach feels misleading. I was genuinely excited to learn about their mission and try their offerings, but after this experience, I am left feeling quite disappointed.
