Grand Tappattoo Resort - Seguin

We had dinner last night in the dining room. My husband's meal was exceptionally poor! His schnitzel was so overcooked you couldn't even tell there was meat in it and the sauce was thick and not overly warm. He refused to complain. As a former restaurant owner, that meal would NEVER have left my kitchen. My pickerel while a very small piece, was done well, and my potatoes were tiny bullets. We were so very disappointed as we were looking forward to this dinner out. Our server was very pleasant.

Stunning location by the water in a beautiful building. Must have reservation, but no one checks. No hostess to greet you and left standing for 10 to 15 minutes while staff ignores you. Breakfast buffet is terrible (slab of not scrambled eggs, over cooked sausages, pancakes and cereal. Coffee was excellent. Dinner: Seafood pasta was heavy with cream sauce and soggy cappelini noodles. Light on seafood some small scalops and a few prawns. Salmon was outstanding.

I have a few more words concerning this great place. We were so impressed with our three night stay that we booked another night. Worth every loonie!

It was the last night of "enforced patio dining and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was well prepared and well presented. I was glad we decided to eat there. Service was friendly.

Went for dinner, very nice atmosphere. A higher end restaurant, the food was good and the service was good. Should of went for lunch so we could see the views. Too dark to see anything.
