Flying J Travel Center - Seffner

No parking here because people park their trucks living in the area, treat parking as their garage and park in the long term. Management must be notified

I wondered why when I reserved parking on a small 30 truck parking lot, that there were 13 people in the line for 1 of the 6 showers. What I thought 6 showers were pretty much for a 30 truck parking lot. Then, after you have come here, wait one hour in a fuel lane for safety to move a non-paying trespasser, wake up the next morning, a shower still, 2 hours later, only the 10th in the line. After the first hour I realized why. While pots run my pup, I noticed that there is a HUGE Lazy Dayz RV campgrounds right at the truck station. Which indicates that most of these holidaymakers use the truck stop showers instead of their own in their rigs. This means that this Flying J is not so much a Truck Stop as it is a Campground Convenance Store/Shower/Fuel Facility. And they are obviously in no hurry to get out of the showers to prevent them from disturbing someone, after all they are on holiday. In the meantime the few 30 if we have truck drivers still a job, some of us like to start the day with a shower. Oh, looks like it's a wet-wet bathroom cooker day : Update: Had to call Guest Services have the shower canceled the credit on my card.

The bathrooms and showers are closed, not available. No ice cream, no real food. Do you have to grubhub or go to the T/A Travel Plaza 10 a.m. to get a hot meal... annnd Deli-case Pizza through the slice does not count.

I've been going to this place for years. I still miss the restraint. (I'm still not above the loss) This place is larger than Yee Haw Junction Fl and I-75 -301 (Riverview FL) smaller than TA above the road. Some of the rooms are narrow for large Rigs. It has a garbage station and propane. Simple in and out for large RV. Staff is the best. Always friendly. Thanks for a great place to stop. Lost a star because the place shows some age. Main room needs an upgrade. I'd visit again.

Shower was clean and shower head had great pressure but the public restroom could be better. Hot water handle on faucet was not working either in the mens restroom
