Landhaus Zum Alten Fritz - Seesen

Great food, cool waiter. We had the Rump Steak and Wiener Schnitzel with mushrooms and sauce. Excellent and very large portions. Big waiter. If you're not a smoker, the place to sit outside would be a problem like almost all smoked. Immersed, not so clean.

During a stay at the hotel for a stopover when we went to Italy, we had dinner when we arrived (a little late because of roadwork and accidents). The service was fast, very attentive and very helpful. We had some great carvings a Viennese art and a Cordon Bleu and the children had excellent pasta dishes California Chicken . Two good local pick-up beers really hit the dry place before we decided to have two glasses of local red wine (fried porchunder). The children had room for desserts, but we decided to stay with a coffee and a brandy. The meals were freshly prepared and very tasty really value for money! On a Friday night the place was pretty crowded, especially with locals, which is quite soothing. Finally, you cannot beat the convenience only to bed after dinner... Absolutely recommended!

The location is perfect as lakes are located near the highway. The place is very close to the center of the city. Many parking spaces at least during lunchtime. Service was fast and friendly. The food was good, the portions were big. Very clean toilets. Alors, 5 stars!

Very good food at reasonable prices at this authentic restaurant. I had a Schnitzel, which was very good. Portions are huge. They have free WiFi.

We spend one night at the landhaus. We got an entire apartment and the other rooms were also were big. Rooms were clean and quiet, maybe a little worn out, but way better than many other gasthofs. Breakfast was ok, but lacked a few things like cheese without cumin or apple juice. We ate at a local restaurant so we didn't try the kitchen. Supposedly it's very good....staff is nice but almost invisible. If I have to overnight near Seesen again I'll definitely consider zum alten Fritz for accommodation.
