Bernstein - Seeheilbad Heringsdorf

This restaurant is far behind a Michelin star. service is good, location and view of the Baltic sea excellent. but eating: very disappointing. the à la carte menu did not exist. the “soul tongue” was completely overboiled and tasted more like “scowl”. the cheese plate was a bad sweat. In summary, they try to avoid this place unless they are going to starve and cannot find a gas house, fish rolls, pommesbude or brat/curry sausage. bonne appetit!

Eating was excellent; weinliste ok. the service has changed during dinner and has caused long pauses.

Beautiful modern environment with unbuilt sea view. delicious food served with stunning instagram ready presentation. slower service is sometimes painful, although a friendly staff does their best.

The first impression that they get from a restaurant is of the kind they are greeted, the waiter tries to turn us down, although half empty (so with screaming children who had toys all over the floor, which looked stunning from the front window seats. but he claimed that these seats were all reserved and gave us the farthest away table that, when I decided to test this restaurant! although we managed to stay an hour there, there were plenty of tables left in the front window with the breathtaking view empty so that my suspected number one was properly proven. the glass windows over us were terrible filthy (do not look up! we decided to test this restaurant by ordering the appetizers first, but they were so horrid that we no longer ordered I asked where the oysters did not know about the waiter. they were luke warm and they smelled so that I was suspected was still forced with charges of zitrone =>diarrrhea/conspiracy of the suppe was almost cold nb. came to check if everything was ok (obvily waiters untrained?! so we had to force the attention to get back this cold suppe, the second attempt looked like it was steamed, but probably they did not warm the big plate (it was not a bowl but almost flat again it was only a luke warm with no spicy, so it tasted nothing and we left the whole supprace.

The greetings at the arrival are always warm and friendly. this restaurant has a fantastic view and eating was excellent. we had a surprise 4-course menu that was very tasty, unfortunately the portions are a bit small for me, so I have a hungry one. after dinner. they have one of the best wine lists on heringsdorf. we enjoyed our meal with matching wine to any cure. a visit for gourmet food.
