The Secret Garden Café - Sedona

Let's start with the good: the atmosphere is beautiful located in Tlaquepaque. The outdoor patio is both shaded and dog friendly. They even brought water for the dog. As nice as the atmosphere was beautiful and the service was attentive, the food sux. My son ordered the French toast. It was basically fried sour dough bread. They didn't bother to soak the bread in custard. Blah. The eggs I ordered were completely unremarkable, which for $30+/pp is not acceptable. Always hurts to see a perfect location with lousy food

Service, price, taste and portions of the food were great, breakfast time finish at 11am. Tap water free, the place is pretty and clean.

What a lovely place to have breakfast with my significant other. The people working were all friendly and attentive, the service was prompt, the food was delicious, the music was great, and the back patio was a beautiful garden setting with hummingbirds zipping around. What more could you ask for?

Listen, the Secret Garden Café is cute, aesthetic, and part of the italian atmosphere in Sedona, AZ. That alone gives the atmosphere the highest grade of a 4/5. Being seated outside was nice with the shade, they definitely need misters to cool down the customers. On the Food, my sister is a better cook, heck I can make a better Caesar salad; the lettuce was brown and drenched in a store bought dressing… it was NOT unique. Listen I wouldn’t be as mad if the salad wasn’t $16. Not to mention an EXTRA $8 FOR DRY CHICKEN that I couldn’t even chew. I would give it a 1/5 or less if I could. But the Service is the cherry on top.. the waitress rushed us, and I couldn’t even catch her in order to ask to order something else. She never asked how we were enjoying things, or checked on us. Waited for the check for almost 35 minutes or longer. I was so disappointed and it felt like this whole place was over hyped. The service alone deserves 0/5 stars. I have been in the restaurant and service industry, and I never leave reviews but this was actually heartbreaking. OVERALL, I would NOT come back and I would tell people to save their money.
