The Grille At Shadowrock - Sedona

We tried the avocado toast, the Sedona breakfast bowl, and the dirty potatoes, all of which we enjoyed. My favorite was the pork carnitas paired with crispy potatoes topped with queso blanco, although the salsa verde was a bit too spicy for my taste. For dinner, we sampled some appetizers. The ahi poke was delicious, but once again, it was accompanied by the spicy salsa verde. I suppose a little heat is to be expected when you're in the Southwest. We also tried the cheesy tomato bisque, which came with a basic grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was decent, but the grilled cheese was nothing special. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you're staying on-site and prefer not to venture out for meals.

I really enjoy visiting this place for drinks by the fireplace. Some evenings, they feature live music, which adds to the atmosphere. In the winter, they offer cozy igloos for private outdoor dining, which is a nice touch. The service is excellent as well!

The igloo experience was fantastic, and the food was incredible! The ribs with mole are absolutely delicious!

It's beautiful but the food is very fatty. Like the short rib. Server was nice at least.

We had a few meals at the Hilton Bell Rock Restaurant (aka Shadow Rock Taproom) during our week long stay. All in all...good service and pretty decent food. Some choices though, are hit and miss. They had some excellent soups, really good sea bass and a few other good apps. The wedge salad was awful and I was extremely disappointed by a couple portions given the $30+ entree costs. But that 's how it goes I guess. For two days the coffee shop part of the restaurant had the espresso machine go down. The barista also had no idea how to fill a cup with coffee. Half a cup is not a cup of coffee. Hostesses and servers were super nice though. The whole property is dog friendly and the fire pits and s 'mores are a great little treat too. I am torn between 3 and 4 stars for the overall experiences.
