Pussycat Gelato - Sedona

This is our first visit to Sedona, and we love gelato! So obviously we had to ask around and do our homework to find the best gelato in town. All roads led to **** Cat Gelato. We rushed our dinner at Mariposa to get here at 7:45, right before closing. Karenna greeted us with a big smile and told us a bit about what makes them the best. I had a scoop of cappuccino hazelnut and one of coconut, and my husband had the double chocolate and cookie dough. Ooh lala c'était magnifique!! Creamy, flavorful and delicious! And while we indulged, we had a wonderful conversation with Karenna, who couldn't have been sweeter. Great experience and service all the way around! I can't wait to return!

Had the mango and strawberry gelato...it really tasted like ice cream but the texture of sorbet. Not impressed at all, it was not very cold..as soon as she handed it to me, in a waffle cone, it was dripping all over my hand. this was last week, it was 45 degrees there, should not have melted like that. Not worth 8 dollars. I won't be back, however the decor was very cute!

We stopped here for a dessert break after doing some shopping in the area. There wasn't anyone at the counter so we looked at the gelato flavors for a bit and eventually after a few minutes someone came into the shop to take our order. We got a 2 scooper which filled the cup nicely and was topped with a little thin cookie. Eating it outside on the benches it was thick, rich and indulgent. It hit the spot! We got berry cheesecake and mango scoops which were both delightful.

Quirky environment but we enjoyed our desserts. Portion sizes were great, you can pick two flavors when you get a small. I feel like this place would do really well if it could get its own storefront closer to the road because it really was very delicious. Highly recommend.
