Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill - Sedona

The atmosphere was great! Table service was wonderful. The food was delicious, but the portions were smaller than expected for the price. Was somewhat disappointed that some of the menu items were not available. We showed up for our reservation a few minutes early, and it was said we were standing at the door to wait. (Normally not a big thing, but in weather below 50 degrees it was not ideal to be hit by the cold air every time someone came or out). I would recommend g up EXACTLY on time or wait in your car.

If you are looking for a dreamlike dining experience, this is the place. We are in Sedona for a few days and wanted good food and atmosphere. Everything exceeded expectations. The staff is so professional and attentive. The food is creative, beautiful and delicious. The atmosphere is incredible. Large open, comfortable dining room with stunning views, no matter where you sit. I am so glad that we have reservations (originally made, it had to eat so early?s reservation only and we were lucky. I recommend making them in advance!

The best food I ever had in Sedona! The ambience is spectacular, the service is amazing and the food is divine. Everything was so full of taste and simply absolutely delicious. We had no reservations and booked a place in the bar after our arrival. They could put us right away and I wasn't too excited to sit at the bar, but it was the best bar experience I had. The bar I had was super attentive and the atmosphere is so beautiful that you forget that you are in a bar. I can't expect us to be here next time! I can't recommend this place enough.

We travel and eat a lot of amazing food, but this place in our opinion is overestimated and quite expensive. I was hungry and the service was very slow. They definitely pay more for the location than the food. It is definitely a tourist place. The restaurant itself looks wonderful, but the food is not up there. The Gazpacho I ordered was nothing near and very salty. I had to give it back. The Jardin plate was okay, but not worth $35. My husband's flesh was good, but nothing extraordinary. I wouldn't recommend it.

The decor and red rock views alone are worth a visit. Then top all that stimulation with a taste bud explosion.....Whoa!!! Really this place is more of an experience than a restaurant. When you make reservations, request Jesus as a server. This man ties the whole event all together with incredible timing and service skills. He gave us new silver ware with every plate (4 courses), all while maintaining a spotless table. I have a new romance with the Butterfly. Those incredibly gifted chefs have really found a harmony of the Mexican infused foods.
