We were lucky enough that Julio opened up on a Sunday evening for us. Culinary highlight of our road trip. The food is unpretentious, hearty, delicious and made with love. He takes Italian classics and makes them vegan so well our carnist friends vowed to return. Julio is a humble and affable person. Fabulous place.

Guilio is a master Italian chef and Thea is a flavour magician and wonderfully warm hosts in their beautiful 100% vegan restaurant. Together they create foods so exquisite that non vegans don't even notice the food is vegan!! In his wood fired oven, Guilio creates paper thin vegan pizzas in four different varieties all divine!! My favourite pizzas in the entire world!! They are better than the pizzas I've eaten at Italian pizzerias in San Francisco and New York. Their lasagna is comfort food deluxe and can be eaten at the restaurant or taken home to freeze and enjoy later. Their range of mouth watering cakes is to die for chocolate, carrot, red velvet are my favourites. They also have soups, burgers, risottos and salads which are heavenly. Scarab Market is just off the N2 at the Engen garage near Wild Oats Market. If you are passing through or visiting the hidden gem of Sedgefield, treat yourself to some deliciousness. The world class dishes are reasonable priced. Take aways are also available for your convenience. Guilio and Thea also catered for my recent birthday party and my guests were blown away by the pizzas, lasagna and risotto. Beyond highly recommended!! Spoil yourself, you will not regret it!!

We had an absolutely delicious pizza! beautiful place, really delicious food and the staff is so friendly! Unfortunately we only drove out, otherwise we would always come back to try the whole menu.

Incredible dining experience with wonderful owners. They serve vegan pizza, pasta, risotto, burgers, as well as cakes and cookies. Everything is homemade, fresh, and delicious. What a fantastic spot in an area that provides very few options for vegans!
