Sophie’s Cafe - Sebring

The dishes I ordered for my mother's birthday were a big hit! The food was fantastic!

Sophie's is my favorite spot for pernil (roasted pork) and Cuban sandwiches, but there's a hidden gem on the menu that deserves more attention: the kiri sandwich. It features their delicious roasted pork, salad, tomato, and mayuketchú (a spiced ketchup mayo sauce) served between two large fried plantain tostones. The Cuban sandwiches are great too, and the coffee is excellent. But trust me, you need to try the kiri at least once in your life. You'll thank me later!

"During a work trip, I had the chance to try this Cuban restaurant, and as someone from South Florida, I’m quite familiar with Cuban cuisine. Overall, the food was delicious! I only gave it 4 stars because I was really disappointed with the palomilla; the meat was quite tough. However, I did try the ropa vieja, and it was fantastic! The baked dishes were also amazing. They definitely need to improve their palomilla."

Great food, service and will definitely be back! I will also recommend to anyone looking for great Cuban food!
