Przekaż informację zwrotnąAside from the completely unpredictable hours and inconsistent information that I find frustrating, this is a great little spot for Thai-ish food. Everything I've had tastes great, just a little disappointed it's been toned down, ie things like no pate on banhmi, etc. Although I will say my banhmi has been pretty spicy at least! Good for takeout or sitting on the square. Think of it as a fresh view on some traditional dishes.
I love their banh mi with tofu and avocado. I just wish they could plan better so they wouldn't run out of avocado on Sunday during the farmer's market, darn it.
Tasty, fresh banh mi! Great beverage options too. My friend had the chicken, so I can't comment on how that tasted, but she's a regular and loves the place. It's just a stand to order from, but there is seating in the plaza where it's located. Would totally go back!
The banh mi sandwiches at this temporary sandwich counter are top-notch. While they may not use the traditional cuts of meat found in banh mi shops in San Francisco's Little Vietnam neighborhood, that's alright. The pork belly was tender with a crispy exterior, and the meatball was tasty and moist. The Thai tea was a bit unusual for my palate, but might appeal to boba enthusiasts. Although it was priced at more than twice the cost of an average San Francisco sandwich, the quality of the meat made it worth every penny.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, although it may not be completely traditional. One standout dish is the soba noodle bowl with peanut sauce, which is not only really great but also large enough to easily share.
