Chalk Hill Cookery was set up at the Sebastopol farmer 's market and I wanted something delicious but relatively healthy so I ordered the Lox Bagel and I 'm so glad I did. It 's got smoked carrot lox (amazing), cashew cream cheese, pickled red onion, chives, capers, olive oil and greens on a Mama Mel 's gluten free bagel. This was such a delicious meal, and I 'm blown away by how good the smoked carrot was.
My wife and I tried several dishes from Chalk Hill Cookery at the Berkeley Earth Day, including the ravioli, young coconut noodles, and coconut jerky. The food was phenomenal and had a very elegant presentation. Their gently cooked and raw food is like no other! Prepared to have a new experience from Matteo, a world-class chef.
