Short Version: Either the pizza or the chocolate cake gave me food poisoning. Gave the place 2 stars mostly because I used to frequent the place weekely. Not anymore.Long Version: The food here USED to be good, now it is a shell of its former self. I bought the Mediterranean pizza, chocolate cake, and the root beer. Before I stopped frequently the place due to my health condition, I used to buy the Mediterranean pizza and a drink almost weekly. While the pizza isnt the best, it certainly wasn't that bad. But when I recently ordered the food for the first time in a long time, I was n't that disappointed. While the taste was a bit different, it was still enjoyable to eat, albeit the size of the artichoke was very large, and the largely sliced piece of tomato on each slice was a bit much. The overall taste wasn't bad. The chocolate cake on the otherhand, oh lord was it bad. The cake had this weird texture was a too thick to my liking and the frosting was way too thick. The only upside I would give the cake was at least it wasn't wet. Some cakes from restaurants are borderline inedible solely due to how wet they are when they arrive from delivery. Now, if I just based this on solely the food, and nothing else, I would easily give this place at least a 3, maybe 3.5 out of 5 stars. At most 4. While the food wasnt the best, especially given the price point, i've experienced a lot worse. However, the place received a 2 out of 5 because later on, I started to have extremely bad bowel related issues that I wont list here.

Bland, bland sauce, lots of broken clam shell pieces mixed in with the pasta. Decently cooked seafood and decent salad.

At last a decent pizza place for the pinehurst area. New owners in an older restaurant. Haven't tried the pastas yet, but if the pizza is a clue the pastas should be good. Desserts are great.

Ordered a 15 Maui pizza and asked the driver(owner) to call me on the call box due to living in a complex. Instead the pizza was left in my lobby doorway. A slice was missing from my pizza. Called to let them know and see what could be done and was called a liar because the owner delivered and sliced my pizza. Offered a percentage off of future orders. Driver was only waiting long enough for me to run down the hallway and up the stairs, don't understand why he left it like that. Refund given and I was told not to order from them again which I am totally fine with.

Excellent food! We really should order from them more often. A hidden gem.
