Honestly, this place is just like any other bakery and doesn’t offer more vegan options than the rest. The staff wasn’t very knowledgeable and seemed unwilling to assist me.
I visited this bakery a while ago, as it’s located right next to the Northeast Library. While there aren’t many unique options for vegetarians and vegans, it still offers a decent selection. Overall, I enjoyed my visits and like the place, but I wouldn’t say it stands out significantly compared to other bakeries in the area. Additionally, there are plenty of street parking spots nearby, so I’m not sure what the concern was in the last review.
Go now and get a vegan chocolate chip cookie. this is the best chocolate chip cookie I ever had. vegan or non-vegan. period. the rest of the bakery is also good. the bagels themselves are vegan and when they eat, they can get it roasted with hummus. many options for the animal doctors. All-in-all, an excellent bakery. the large part is the lack of vegan options. the cookies and a bagel with hummus are the only things you can really eat when you get eaten.
Stopped in here for a bagel — which is hard to find in seattle. anyway, much better bagels than blazing bagels which gets all the hype. the service was friendly and fast, there is currently no inside seating (which is fine), but the baked goods all looked pretty tasty to go. coffee is caffe vita, not great but OK. i had the sesame bagel with cream cheese and the thing was beautiful (see photo). i’m not a huge dead head, but i appreciate the pun and would probably go back here. very accessible (with parking) and unpretentious.
