Taki's Mad Greek - Seattle

I am extremely perplexed by the glowing reviews for this restaurant. The food and service are both subpar. The food was below average and the service was incredibly slow. It took 45 minutes to receive 2 gyro sandwiches, despite there being only one table occupied during this time. The customers at that table appeared to be regulars or family members, as they were on a first-name basis with the host. One of the guests even went directly into the kitchen to retrieve a spoon that had fallen on the floor, which is a health code violation, especially during Covid times. Additionally, the gyros I ordered were soggy, cold, and unappetizing, with an overpowering tzatziki sauce. The chicken was overcooked, cold, and bland, as if it had been reheated from a frozen state without any seasoning. Overall, this restaurant left me feeling disappointed and I ended up throwing away most of my meal. It's a place that I will not be returning to.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and truly authentic! I especially enjoy their Greek fries. The owners have been active members of the Ballard community for many years and are friendly and welcoming individuals.

This restaurant prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction and community well-being. The food is delicious, but the presence of aggressive police officers in the neighborhood tarnishes the dining experience. The dishes seem to lack care and love in their preparation. I would recommend trying out the Greek food at other restaurants in town instead.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in seattle. eating is always fantastic and no matter what I'm ordering, I'm always thrilled with my meal! Anyone who works at takis is beautiful and always efficient, happy and polite. can't wait to return and would not hesitate to recommend anyone who is looking for somewhere to eat.

Service was great and fast. Very good food with large portions!!
