I had a craving for a classic breakfast, and this restaurant really hit the spot. The service was quick, and the food was delicious, but the standout of my meal was definitely the coffee!
I wouldn't recommend spending your money here. While the cashier was very friendly and the view was pleasant, the food quality was terrible. My boyfriend ordered a burger and it was quite disappointing.
Oh boy, where do I even begin with this place? A one-star rating seems overly generous after the food disaster I experienced! Seriously, who can mess up bacon? The potatoes were straight out of a horror film, and as for my husband’s salmon hash? Let's just say that if the salmon was playing hide and seek, it definitely won. And can we talk about the bread? It tasted and smelled like a relic from ancient times! The coffee didn’t fare any better; it seemed like it was brewed with water from a shoe. The only redeeming feature was the view, which was merely average. Honestly, do yourself a favor and skip this place unless you want to waste your money. As for the service, if you enjoy waiting forever, then this is the perfect spot for you! Save yourself the hassle and avoid this culinary disaster.
Despite ongoing inflation, the menu prices remain relatively reasonable for the pricey Emerald City and the touristy Pike Place Market. Just a heads-up, though: Seattle has one of the highest sales tax rates in the country. They accept both credit cards and cash. Every table offers a scenic view of Puget Sound, although we experienced a thick haze due to smoke from nearby wildfires. The food was excellent—everything was nicely prepared without being too salty, greasy, or overloaded with sauce. The clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl was delightful, and the ravioli with mushrooms was both flavorful and generously portioned. The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and spongy, just how I like them. The loco moco was filling and plenty tasty, while the view platter was perfectly cooked. Overall, everything tasted wonderful with large portions, and the service was friendly and prompt. The menu, though small, has a good variety. My only slight critique is that the coffee didn’t quite meet the usual Seattle standard. I would definitely recommend this spot to both tourists and locals.
