Both were amazing. We ate in their outdoor dining space. It was nicely heated and protected from the breeze. Def not cheap but worth it for a unique meal! Also kudos to them for actually verifying vaccination status before seating us.
Wonderful upgrade to the venue. New chef, upscale dishes, and interesting twist on some of the classics. Enjoyed and would come back to try other dishes. a disappointing limited menu. Plan to spend a little more on the dishes. not sure why the prawn heads were served. Someone with a week stomach might not have appreciated the prawn parts. Prawns were overcooked; However, the chicken kabob was wonderful.
Beautiful presentation, tasty food but a little pricey. The restaurant is nicely decorated and maintained very well inside. The location is not the best and it is hard to believe what your experience will be until you go in and try them out. The appetizers were very tasty and we tried the Shikanji drink with them. The rim was coated with a special spice that made it really great! We tried the jackfruit steamed buns, dahi poori and chipotle paneer for appetizers. For the mains, we went for the Fig kofta, black dal and the pheasant lababdar along with the bread sampler. Dessert was the pistachio brownie. Everything was amazing except for the pheasant that we confused for chicken (could not appreciate).
Started strong but overall dissatisfied. The appetizers and drinks were quite delicious. The main dish had a fun presentation but was very dry and not very flavorful. The bread sample was also fun and pretty but not very good. It's probably the only time I didn't finish bread at a dinner. Still running high on how good the appetizers were I decided to order dessert (pistachio tiramisu), but it was a weird combination of over soggy lady fingers and a thick cream layer.
The food was really good and very different from your typical Indian restaurant. Presentation was inventive and I had a lovely evening with my husband on their patio. Docking stars for 3 reasons. 1- the drink I ordered (the ginger bomb) was plain awful, 2- this is not the fine dining experience that?s being advertised, 3- they charge a 20% gratuity by default and don?t make that obvious at all, so you?re likely to tip twice.
