I was extremely disappointed our entire experience. Definitely a locals joint where regulars receive preferential treatment, our service took forever, our food all came out at different times. I was charged two different amounts for a side of anchovies and all in all it very underwhelming. The parpadelle with tomato and sausage was the worst item we had, the sauce tasted store bought. They charge you top dollar for authentic Italian and then hand you parmigiana in a package! It was comical! At $400 a table they should do MUCH better!
Came across this restaurant on yelp and decided to stop in for a business trip while traveling with my colleagues and was appalled at this atrocious experience. To start, as they say first impressions are everything wow, upon arrival Lindsey the owner sat us and it took about 15 minutes to approach us, we noticed they were completely understaffed but decided to give it a chance. Our server (the owner) never gave us a smile or any ounce of friendliness while taking our order, in fact she was short abrasive and offensive with her facial gestures, not even allowing each person to finish their order before moving on to the next; nevertheless we ordered our food and awaited our drinks. 25 minutes later one of our items (tagliatelle with tomato sauce no sausage) was served, she didn 't stop to ask if we wanted Parmesan or any accompaniment, only the rest of your food will be out in a few minutes.... 15 minutes later the rest of our food arrived while our pasta went cold and EVERYTHING was Completely awful and underwhelming. Our wood fired pizza was burnt on top and soggy on the bottle and it was all entirely overpriced. Having lived in Italy, I can definitely vouch and say this was a sad and painful attempt at authentic Italian food . The only redeeming factor would normally be it 's family owned and operated but considering the offensive service we received from the owner herself I am disgusted with the entire experience. Our bill was about $300 for our table we asked for one item, a soup to he returned and although untouched were still charged. Extremely upsetting. Enter at your own risk.
I came to ODP second time. The first time I came, I ate pizza and dessert. It was a very good pizza and service. The inside of the store has a calm atmosphere and the customer base is good and comfortable. I came to eat pizza again, but I was intrigued when I saw the special menu on the table, so I ordered prawn bisque soup, Farfalle paste with spinach pesto burrata cheese. Rock fish in white wine with lemon capers. Served with a vegetable. I liked fish meal and pasta was plain taste. There are so many things on the menu that I want to try, it's hard to choose. I look forward to the next time.
We were invited by our friends. The food was amazing supert so good. Put the service is kind of wacky the owner wife is trying to be the waitress put she need to be a better host since one of the reasons that people go out to eat is to relax and enjoy a meal. They really need to hire a professional waitress to help them take care of their customers . They have the husband cooking the wife pretending to be a waitress, as well as their son and their son friend. The only one that is doing a great job is the husband in the kitchen He is a great chef and the food that he put out is delicious . Let hope that they can figure out before they loose their clients.
Passable pasta, but barely. Lots of oil and less flavor. Clearly frozen ravoli. The bruschetta consisted of sliced cherry tomatoes on very oily and highly salted!! Pizza looked good, though we didn't try any. Lemon sorbet came in a frozen lemon and was very tasty.
