However, the slices were too thick, and there wasn’t much meat overall. The pickles were good, but the coleslaw was quite disappointing. The prices are reasonable for what you get, but I believe you can find much better sandwiches in NYC for the same price. I might consider skipping Dingfelder's in the future.
Yeah it's pricey but it's worth it. Juicy pastrami, sturdy rye, flavorful mustard. Babka is great as well.
We ordered trays for an event, and we couldn't have been happier with the quality of food, display and arrangement of the items, and the customer service. Bagels, lox, cream cheese, sliced tomatoes, onions, capers. Pastrami and turkey sandwiches on marbled rye. All perfect, and exactly what you would expect from any Jewish deli back east. The coleslaw and potato salad, just like home. Bagels were baked/boiled in halves which was perfect for deli platters and had the perfect consistency. Cream cheese assortments were spot on and not overwhelming. Lox, again, just like home and not some PNW substitution. I would highly recommend Dingfelder's for any occasion you want authentic east coast deli foods, be it a Bar Mitzvah, Shiva, Wedding, or other celebratory event.
The corned beef and pastrami sandwiches were incredibly meaty and delicious. We devoured them so quickly that I nearly forgot to take a photo!
This place is fantastic! We decided to give it a try based on the reviews, and we were not disappointed. I had the dish with salami and turkey, and it was incredible. The cheesecake is also absolutely amazing. We ordered the sandwiches as they come, and they were delicious!
