I tried Canton Wonton House at the Lunar New Year festival the other day. I had a $6 bowl of their wonton soup and by the end of the festival, looped back around for another one. It was the only place I went back to for seconds.Today I ordered them for delivery on Uber Eats. Their prices are very fair especially for the quality and amount of food given.Their pork and shrimp wontons are bouncy, juicy and filling. The broth is simple yet flavorful and clear I love it with their chili oil paste. Their noodles have a complimentary flavor and good bite even for being very thin. They deserve some hype!If I had the money to help them renovate their space, I would do it. They work hard, have kids and produce quality food. They deserve a quality upgrade like many of the delicious restaurants in the International District.
Absolutely the best tasting wonton noodle soup ever!!!!!!! I can tell they make their own noodles. Noodles are still firm and so good!! Customer service is wonderful! I always visit whenever I'm in town. I wish this was in my city.
Small no-frills Cantonese wonton noodle place in Chinatown. Went there for a late lunch on a weekend afternoon, and there were a few people inside. Menu has the pretty typical Cantonese soup noodle and mixed items. Not a whole lot of appetizer choices. Got the large size wonton and BBQ pork (chashiu) soup noodles. The noodle has some bounce to them, but not too chewy. The wontons are the more traditional variety that are smaller and has pork and some shrimp. Everything tasted fine, but the amount of ingredients is low. I got four small wontons, four pieces of pork, and half a stalk of Shanghai bokchoy. The effects of inflation, I suppose. Overall it was alright, but there are better wonton noodle places in Chinatown.
This place is asian mom dad approved! brought my parents here and they liked it a lot. i feel like this is one of the most authentic chinese dining experiences you will find in seattle! it's very mom and pop so dont come in expecting anything fancy, no bells or whistles!i highly recommend the wonton noodle soup, with either the beef brisket or my favorite is the beef tendon! the wontons are good, but maybe on the smaller side, the soup is so flavorful and rich, and the egg noodles are nice and bouncy! their portions are pretty good for the price, i was so full after eating one regular sized order. i also really like their congee! i also would recommend ordering a cup of their soybean milk, and they can serve it either hot or cold!
