Bluwater Bistro - Seattle

I'm not sure that I liked the decor There's something about it that seems sort of dated and worn Nothing that I can put a finger on though.

Lovely place with great food and dedicated service.

This is my second time here and this place is nice with a great ambience and right by the lake. The service is good and the food is pretty great as well. I once came before for breakfast which was okay but this time I came for some dinner and drinks. I liked the latter. We took a Mediterranean platter which was pretty good with a great portion size. My wife took a mail Tai and I had some beer and an old fashion . We also got the rock fish which was pretty tasty. The rock fish came with some beans and potatoes which complimented the fish very well. They have tons of parking and u can always take a stroll to the lake right outside.

I had manilla clams excellent they used to have baby clams years back but these were exceptional in garlic butter and chardonnay. Cheese platter is a must have and house chardonnay eas great.

We only ate here by default (the restaurant we were going to was not open yet). The menu seemed promising, but when we ordered there was not enough meat to bread ratio. (Especially for the price) But?the clam chowder on the other hand was absolutely amazing! Filled with large clams, minimal potatoes, and a flavorful base. I don?t know if we would venture in here again just for soup.
