Ballard Annex Oyster House - Seattle

We were visiting from San Diego, and a friend who lives in Ballard recommended this restaurant. Coming from a place known for its seafood, I had high expectations, and I’m happy to say this place did not disappoint. They had an excellent selection of oysters, and our server was spot-on with her descriptions. I ordered the Crab Gnocchi, which was loaded with fresh crab meat. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was so delicious that I had to request some bread to soak it up. My husband had the Mussels and Pappardelle, which were fantastic! The pasta was outstanding, and the mussels were delightful—I’d definitely order them again if we return. One of our daughters tried the Fish and Chips and loved it, while our other daughter had a burger, which was surprisingly good for a seafood place. I'll definitely be dreaming about the gnocchi, pappardelle, and oysters when I’m back in San Diego!

I absolutely adore this restaurant! My best friend discovered it a few years ago, and we've been hooked ever since. They have the best oysters, fresh horseradish, and fantastic mimosas, among other great dishes. I highly recommend it!

This has become my new favorite restaurant. The variety of oysters is exceptional; definitely try the sampler plate featuring the best from the Northwest! The scallops served on mushroom risotto are simply the best I’ve ever had (I wasn't fond of the farro it was accompanied by once, but the scallops were still divine!). The cocktails are superb, and I especially love the Sea Glass and North Beach drinks. The Annex has consistently provided my guests with an excellent experience, and we’ve all been impressed by the knowledge and expertise of the servers. I absolutely adore this restaurant!

Our granddaughter brought us to your establishment after a beautiful sunset in the city. We enjoyed buckets of seafood and our granddaughter had the mussels in pasta. Perfectly delicious. Our server was extremely attentive and assisted me with my gluten-free meal. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

This was my family's first time and dang mind completely blown the food looks good service was awesome the staff i cant even say enough about that part. overall that oyster house deserves a huge thumbs up from me i will always come back to this place just to chill out with friends or family or both. Keep up the good work.
