Sushi Ryokan - Seal Beach

Let's see, I've been eating sushi since my little child, spent time in SE Asia, traveled quite a bit and lived everywhere in the USA, including many coastal cities. To date, I never had better sushi or better experience in any sushi restaurant than this. A few years ago dragged to Long Beach and all swore by all these sushi restaurants. I believed them all. Some were good, some were fine and then a friend who lived in Japan recommended this. We haven't looked back since. You can tell you exactly where every fish comes from. The owner goes into the market every morning and chooses the fish itself. The chefs make you custom roles when you ask. If you're sitting at the bar, they'll talk to you if you want or let your loneliness enjoy. You are very humble and nice. The owner comes by and brings you food, drinks, ask how you do and also invite large conversations. The waiting staff is over polite and very nice. The multiple TVs there are always streaming new movies and shows, sports games and if you ask, you can change the TV closest to you to something you like. Whether you want crazy hybrid american roles, traditional Japanese sushi or Sake recommendation, you can be guaranteed to be served some of the best sushi ever had. Some of the best sushi I've ever had. It tastes so fresh and delicious. We had the Bitchy Bitchy Roll, Sufer Boy Roll (my Fav) and Hi Stranger Roll. You were all good. Great Happy Hour Specials. My children had the Teriyaki chicken and rice and ate every bite. It was pretty busy and it took a while to get the reels, but it was so good when we finally got them.

We always have a great experience here. The roles are really good. My Fave is the Absolutely Fabulous Roll. The first KISS is also really delicious.

Best Sushi Square in O.C. Very fresh fish, friendly staff, experienced sushi cuisine. A cozy place to eat.

The sushi here is excellent, and the service is fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone nearby. Don't miss trying the Surfer Boy roll; it's delicious!
