In an area filled with nice pubs and bars this is my favourite. It's cosy and friendly with a really good selection of drinks, and lots of stuff to do like board games and consoles. Very dog friendly (as long as they get on with resident pub dog Boo) and run by a lovely family. Not one for a mad night of dancing, but it's a lovely hangout. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5

Good friendly place to try unusual beers in pleasant surroundings. Friendly staff. Last couple of times I’ve been in there was a lively after work crowd. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

One of if not best boozers on south road. Ed and Eve are fab. Dog friendly place always lovely to be met by Boo
