Hampton Inn By Hilton - Seaford

We arrived here in the evening on a Tuesday and our reservation was for a total of four nights. We were in the area in July and decided this was the best option for us to check out the Delmarva Peninsula while doing it on a budget. My wife briefly checked out other Hilton options closer to the beach and they were simply too expensive for us. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Since we visited during covid the housekeeping staff was helpful and friendly about exchanging out towels and giving us additional supplies like toilet paper while connecting in the hallway. We really appreciate that the toilet flushes well, but holy cow, keep a safe distance when flushing or you might lose something. Overall it was a good stay but we feel that something needs to be done to the parking entry area. Twice during our four days the entry (shared with Walmart and another retail space) was almost impassable with deep water that doesn't appear to drain properly. This isn't acceptable in our opinion and should be fixed as soon as possible.

Not sure what the point is for online check-in and digital key if they make you come in and pay an incidental fee. Also hotel showing tons of wear and tear. Don't waste your time staying here. Makes me ashamed to say I'm a Hilton Honors member

I travel quite a bit for work and usually stay at hotels like Hampton Inn. To be honest, I don't think I have ever had a bad experience at a Hampton Inn. They are always very clean and quiet. This location was exactly what I was expecting. The staff was friendly and informative. Check-in was super quick. They had hot coffee out ready to go for guests. The room was really clean, which I am always glad to see. The room had a chair with an ottoman, which make you feel like you're at home. I love hotels that have an actual desk you can work at. The bed was pretty comfortable and the thick blankets keep you nice and warm (in the winter). I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Hampton Inn and it was a great experience. It's a pet friendly hotel which is what we needed. The whole experience was great from beginning to end. The hotel was immaculate. The room was very comfortable. I will be back. I highly recommend The Hampton Inn.
