Costa Coffee - Scunthorpe

I visited the restaurant during the midday rush and noticed that the service was quite fast. While I was sitting there with my drink, I accidentally knocked over my cortado, spilling it on the table and the floor. A kind staff member quickly grabbed some paper towels and helped clean up the table, while another employee brought a mop. To my surprise, one of the workers also came back with a fresh drink for me! I really appreciated their assistance and I'm sorry for the mess I made.

I should be upfront and say that I usually prefer independent coffee shops, but I have a soft spot for Costa Coffee. This particular branch is not very large; there's a much bigger one just a few hundred meters away. However, its location makes it convenient for the main shopping arcade, the bus station, and multi-story parking. I choose this location primarily because it's an ideal spot when I visit the city. While it’s not a massive café, there are comfortable seats both inside and outside. As for the coffee and food on offer, I fear it's a bit of a cliché; if you know one Costa, you know them all.

The coffee here is excellent, and the staff is wonderful. They always bring my coffee to my table, which is great since I have a foot condition and struggle to get around. They’re not overly bothersome either. A big thank you to the entire team!

Extremely considerate towards my husbands lactose intolerance, they explained how they were going to make his drink separately-excellent service!
