We had the most amazing roast dinner, I wanted a desert but didn't have room so will have to go back

I had Steak and ale pie , mash and veg. The pie was delicious, the veg was dante but as l like it. Not cheap £15 but worth the money. The atmosphere is friendly and quirky with photos from the airfield on the walls, and a traffic light system for the loo,s.

Family birthday party of 9. Sunday lunch menu of beef, lamb, pork and fish and chips children’s menu. Loverly place, everyone seemed to like food no complaints. Comment was made that vegetables could have been hotter but was alright to me. It’s always a personal choice about food, for me only I wasn’t keen on thick cut of meat and fat but some people like this. Different menu during week looked on line before I go anywhere as am a fussy eater and reasonable limited menu. If you want to give it a try friendly helpful staff at about the same price as most places. I would recommend.

Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff! We were a large group of nine, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The bratwursts were huge and delicious, and the meat dishes were fantastic – we were all very happy with our choices. The desserts were delightful as well. The staff was accommodating to my little brother, who is just 1.5 years old; he loved the ice cream and devoured an enormous Yorkshire pudding. Thank you so much for the excellent service and tasty food. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious! Everything about this place was fantastic. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was lovely, and the food was simply amazing. I ordered the steak and the twill cake, and the meat was incredibly tender! The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and I have to say, the cake was the best I've ever had in a pub—everything tasted fresh! The dessert was delightful; I can't say enough good things about this place. Kudos to the chef! The cake was truly outstanding.
