West Side Flava's - Scranton

I was in the mood for soul food and called in bbq chicken with macaroni and cheese and string beans. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a convenience store setting. I was greeted when I walked in. The food was ready, and I paid and left. When I dug in, the food was good. I really enjoyed the mac and cheese! The flavors were great! I had a good experience.

I'm New to the area and was looking for soul food. Westside flavas was literally the only one I could find. Within 2 months I've ordered at least 10 times. Multiple different dinners and sides I've loved them all. My favorite is whiting fish w/ collard greens and sweet potatoes and ofc that cornbread and a slice or two extra

I ordered fried whiting with mac and cheese. The breading was falling off the fish and the mac and cheese lacked flavor. I called and spoke to the manager who told me my platter will be replaced. I went to pick up the the entree. It was the same with the fish, sweet potaoes was like someone peeled and sliced big chunks and put in the platter, the mac and chesses was still horriable. As a southern cooker myself this food was far from soul food.

Ordered through Uber eats. They were out of yams and corn on the cob but didn’t even call (before delivery)to ask if I’d like something else. Just had it delivered without those items. Also, I specifically asked for condiments (hot sauce and tartar sauce) and it wasn’t delivered. The fish was tasty but 1 very small piece. The greens are very salty. Mac and Cheese is good. Overall not worth the price at all! Very small portions.

Man!! This so good make you wanna slap yo moma!! I'm sure glad my moma live 300 miles away when I took a bite because boooyyyyy!!
