Williston Holding Company - Scottsdale

I think I got put off by the attendant at the entry coming in lol. I actually made a mistake. Don't know what I was thinking about, but almost missed the big giant doors, and almost went thru the patio outside. The attendant at the door was very nice helpful. She opened the door for me and guided me in.... But she looked upset : I think I lost the vibe. But I still sat at the bar and by goodness the bartender and waitress were very sweet. I didn't even feel like staying too long anymore tho. So I only ordered the oysters. It was good. Nice ambiance. I expected more. It's a tiny place on the side of a strip mall but prices from the Biltmore. I wasn't impressed. The maitre d' acted like able was inside the Marriott or something. In my instinct I asked, what? Am I under-dressed lol??! I liked the greenery inside the service once seated. But lersonally... not for me.

I've been putting off trying this relatively new restaurant and I am sorry I did. I missed out on a lot of great experiences that I now have to make up. I can't wait to try everything on their menu. I love the cool a little trendy ambiance. The service was top notch, attentive but not overbearing. I spent too much just because I wanted to try everything, two glasses of a superb sauvignon blanc, appetizer, swordfish, a delightful tiramisu and French press coffee to end the evening. Going back for the oysters, brussel sprouts, prime steak and pick a tasty cab to make it all amazing. You won't be disappointed. 10 stars all around. Don't let the strip mall fool you.

We were surprised to get a spot on a Friday night without a reservation but luck was with us that night, partly because it was still fairly early. We ended up sitting at the bar where the service was excellent. I had the chicken with some of the best grits I have ever had. If I could order just a bowl of the cheesy grits I would. My husband had the burger and said it was excellent. We also ordered the fries which were fantastic. The place is loud....very loud. If you are looking for a quiet place to talk this is not it, but if you don't mind the noise, the food is great. Just be sure to make a reservation.

I've been looking forward to coming to this restaurant. It did not disappoint at all. Bartenders were great, and helped us with there favorites on the menu, and drinks were fantastic. Cute space, very open with good size bar. The beef bolognese was really good such great flavors. The Brussels were cooked perfect with a good dressing. Mac and cheese was perfect as well as the croquettes and salad.

Girls night out with my daughters. We were excited to try a new place. However, we left very unsatisfied and hungry after spending $180.The ambiance is classy trendy. It has a nice touch if class feel for sure. The service is very good, no complaints there. They worked as a cohesive team. They all cane around perfectly so never had to flag anyone down.The big disappointment was the food. I feel we ordered enough items to determine that we will not return. Menu is definitely limited but we were aware snd did our research beforehand. Thought, maybe the quality will make up for the quantity.Here is what we had:1. Brussels sprouts, has a bite to it which is fine and also cut up apple. It just didn't wow me. Half eaten.2. Oysters, on the small side and sauce options just didn't do for me as well. 3. Croquettes was blah. There was inly 4 small balls so we managed to finish it.4. Spicy soba noodles was just ok and definitely over priced. Listed as shareable item but very small portion. Less than half eaten. Overall it was over priced restaurant with not so good food. I do not recommend.
