Volanti Lounge - Scottsdale

To describe it in one word...Disappointing. I took the family to Volanti for Father 's Day. It was busy but not super crazy, so I don 't think that had anything to do with our experience. First, the good: atmosphere is nice and the views are great. It 's not super loud like some brunch places, with the exception of the occasional jet noise. Pretty much every seat has a great view to see the jets taking off and landing, which is always fun. It was happy hour all day on Father 's Day, which means $8 Prosecco, among other specials. Our server was decent, maybe not 100% on top of it, but he was very friendly and accommodating, even asking if we wanted him to take a family picture, which I thought was sweet. The not so good... the Prosecco of the day which I can imagine they sold a lot of was not cold. I advised the server and asked for ice, which he accommodated. We started with the beignets. These sound so delicious as described on the menu, which the server explained was served with dulce du leche. Having traveled to Argentina, where dulce du leche is served at nearly every restaurant, I was excited! Unfortunately, what we received were four, small, overcooked very brown beignets that were drizzled with what tasted like Hershey 's syrup. $14 I asked the server about the side of dulce du leche, and he left to get it, only to return stating the beignets were not served with the sauce, they were just drizzled with a chocolate caramel sauce although that 's not how he initially described it. Regardless, it was not anything caramel...just chocolate sauce, and a tiny bit of it. My kids were hungry and ate them they liked them even though I wasn 't impressed. My son had Challah French Toast $18 which was very tasty but was served with artificial syrup, which I found appalling. Four pieces of French toast for $18 and you 're going to serve basically artificially flavored corn syrup with it??! Yuck! Rest of review on Y elp where there’s no character limit.

Professional, friendly attentive host desk, servers and all the staff. Quite a pleasure and unique venue with plenty of parking.

Came in for a business lunch Outing at Volanti on Friday and left very happy and impressed by the service. Don't quite remember the waitress' name but blonde girl was super nice and seemed organized and got everything out in a timely manner even with the big party for 10. I personally come to Volanti often and have always had great experiences so I'll be happy to say I'll be coming back here soon and would recommend anyone to come check out the restaurant with a great view.

Been here a few times and really enjoyed it. However, the service was inattentive and very slow this time. Also, the cocktails were poorly made unlike last time. Seemed like the “B” team was working our night.
