A genuine European treasure! The atmosphere was charming and incredibly comfortable. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced! Both the Chicken Piccata and Pork Schnitzel were excellent and incredibly fresh. There were so many other dishes I wanted to sample. I will definitely return soon. Once the weather cools down a bit, I can’t wait to enjoy a meal on their lovely outdoor patio! You won’t want to miss this spot!
If you're on the hunt for excellent German and Czech cuisine, Pravda in Scottsdale is the place to go. This cozy restaurant boasts a fantastic menu and exceptionally friendly staff. I've sampled most of the dishes, and everything has been delicious, though I always make sure to order an extra side of their sauerkraut—it's that delightful! The homemade goulash is another standout dish; for me, it embodies the essence of comfort food. Nestled among a sea of steakhouses and Italian eateries, Pravda truly stands out as a remarkable and unique choice. I highly recommend it!
Pravda lives up to its new name and menu. Great romantic setting, friendly owners and staff, and scrumptious food. Having been all over Europe, and favoring the Czech cities and villages, we?ve frequented the Eurocafe71 and Pravda since we moved to the area several years ago. We enjoy talking about the ?Old Country? and various favorite dishes with Dennis and Kalin. Kalin?s great sense of humor and Dennis? insight into their menu?s origins in the Czech Republic bring a sense of ?home? to Pravda?s kitchen. All their meals over the years have been outstanding, including last night?s schnitzel with peppercorn sauce. The yummy potato salad is the same as my Hungarian and Polish grandparents made, and the sauerkraut was a perfect side recommendation. When you?re craving true European comfort foods, Pravda?s an outstanding option. We?ll be going back, taking more of our family and friends to break bread and reminisce about our travels and family roots.
We went there on recommendation from friends and were not disappointed. We both had the wine carving and it was so tender that you could cut it with a fork! The sauerkraut, the potatoes and the small salad that accompanied it were also delicious. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert that was unique and tasty. Will definitely come back. A little hard to find, but worth the effort.
