Pitch Pizzeria Scottsdale

The server was more focused on the tables around us that were seated after us. We had to wave her down to inquire about when our entrees would be brought out, for a refill on water, and to request the check. She never came to check on the quality of our food, and I received the wrong side dish with my sandwich.

Our group of 5 arrived at a busy restaurant on a Friday night. We arrived in two separate groups starting at 5:30pm. Drinks were served promptly and when the second group arrived, they were able to order more drinks and appetizers without any issues. However, when our appetizers arrived, we noticed our server was a bit annoyed. We tried to lighten the mood by thanking her for her hard work. As we waited for our dinner, we realized it was taking a long time and we needed to leave for an event. When we informed our server that we would need to take our food to go, she returned to inform us that our order had been lost due to an internet outage. Disappointed and hungry, we paid for our drinks and left two hours after initially sitting down. We felt that the restaurant could have done something to make it right, even a small gesture or apology would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant. This is the first time I have ever written a negative review, as I understand that mistakes happen and I typically do not like to criticize. I dine out multiple times per week.

As always, The Pitch did not disappoint. It had been a while since our last visit and we were disappointed to see that the buffalo cauliflower appetizer had been removed from the menu. Nonetheless, the service was excellent, the drinks were delicious, and we had a wonderful date night there once again. The atmosphere at The Pitch is always just right - not too loud and with perfect seating. We typically stick to entrees or salads, but this time we decided to try a pizza for the first time in years. It was amazing. We will definitely be back soon for another great night. Thank you and see you soon, The Pitch!

Amazing waitress! We had Breyonce and she was the best. We made a derivation and they were accommodating when I had to add two more people. Will be back and will recommend!

Always a solid experience at pitch! Food is always very tasty and the service is typically great.
