New York Bagels 'n Bialys Skysong

Got there at 12ish, walked in and got seated right away (hardly anyone there). That was the BEST PART OF THE EXPERIENCE... Young lady said our waitress would be right with us, a few minutes later she came back and said I guess I'll be taking your order. Ordered a sandwich on toast and my granddaughter ordered a salad. After waiting almost 20 plus minutes our order arrived. Toast was cold and the sandwich was meh. The salad was just ok. After we left my granddaughter told me why the food was meh, turns out the people who were making the food were all laughing and having a good time while the young lady that seated us was 1-taking orders (more people had arrived) 2- delivering food 3- ringing up the tab's (taking money) and 4- handing orders for takeout (Doordash, etc) to the people picking up... ONE PERSON!!!! Looks like NO ONE IS IN CHARGE THERE... WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.....

New York Bagels Bialy in Skysong is excellent. I had Nova lox, cream cheese, onion and tomato on a well done toasted everything bagel.Thinking back, I could have had a bialy.Anyway, my breakfast was excellent. I did taste the NYB B version of home fries. They were good, but they were more like French fries than home fries. There were no grilled diced onions mixed in with them. I normally expect grilled diced onions in home fries.The service was excellent, the server friendly and efficient, and the venue was very nice. Such a great experience today!!! Best bagels and even got a free coffee to go. Didn’t even ask but our waiter surprised us. He said he was new but was excellent! We traveled in for a concert, we’ll be back for sure.

My college roommates my junior year were two cool Jewish guys from NYC NJ. They taught me about bagels. For the West Coast certainly Phoenix, this place sells good bagels. They also sell traditional breakfast foods.

Fantastic food and service! Got the Egg-a-Bagel pileup and almost passed out. Our service from Derek was only in his third day and absolutely crushed. He was funny, helpful and just friendly as hell. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Phoenix!
