Matt's Big Breakfast - Scottsdale

Ate at Gilbert location yesterday. Will try again because I think I ordered wrong thing. Not the place for breakfast burritos. Was all tortilla, potato and jalapeno. Tasted tart like vinegar, maybe from pickled jalapenos? Was supposed to have egg and chorizo but literally couldn't find it in the burrito. My breakfast mate's waffle and omelet looked amazing so will try again but will never order a breakfast burrito from there again.

Food was nothing special. Hash browns looked like a frozen patty. Food is overrated. I would rather dine at Waffle House.

$70 after tax/tip for three of us. We all got the father 's day special and two of us got coffee (just water for the third). Good food/portions and service, cant ask for much more. I expected less based on the flat 4 rating tbh. Only gripe is I wish the daily specials (benedict/french toast/biscuits and gravy) ran all week instead of just on specific days.

Large portions and quality food makes it a 5 star review. Was hungry and purchased the 5 spot platter at 12.99. Home fries were excellent.

I love eating here when I’m on vacation! The hog&chick are my favorite! And the OJ is so good! The employees are so sweet too
