The food was great. We had the prawns and the chicken parm.
As always, the highlight of the meal was the prime rib. That's the main reason I occasionally stop for dinner at Jerico's. The blue cheese salad dressing is so-so and tastes like it comes out of a glass, but the wine portions are quite generous, although the wine list is quite dated and conventional. And at 77, I just have to have qualified to reach the minimum age for entry! Still, the prime rib is the best in town.!
Jerico's has been our go-to spot for special occasions for years. However, our recent visit did not live up to our past experiences. Normally, the fillets (Knight's Cut) are delicious and tender, but this time they were underseasoned and had to be sent back to be cooked to our liking. We shared this feedback with both the hostess and our server. Despite the hostess offering to prepare another steak, we declined as it would have been wasteful since we wouldn't be able to eat it then or take it home. The only response we received was an apology from the server. We will continue to recommend Jerico's, but with caution.
