However the service was downright awful. There was a big party of us as we were celebrating my husband?s and daughter?s birthday. We sat on the patio and it was not busy yet for dinner. We had to ask several times for our drinks to be refilled, the server was very slow, and actually gave off a rude attitude. I asked about getting a dessert so we could sing to my husband and daughter and he told me they don?t do that and don?t have any candles or anything and seemed very irritated that I was even asking. I mean 5 star fine dining restaurants even do that so I don?t think I was asking something weird. It was just a very strange vibe. Anyway like I said food was delicious so we may visit again. Maybe they were having an off night I?m not sure but definitely not a place to go when you?re celebrating something special.
The food was good, but the service was bad. because my friend is a lighter eater, we told our server that we would share a beer and a Fajita plate. but we had to ask for 2 glasses after they just gave us the 1 beer bottle, and then again 2 teller after they only dropped the fajita plate. immediately after we had asked for the extra tassen and teller, the staff erased from an empty table before getting the objects dirty dishes. The beer became warm and the food was cold. they have not refilled our chips. I would have expected more of the service as we had eaten after lunch break and we were the only table with things waiting.
Fun atmosphere on the back patio. The food was good ? lots of authentic options. We had the chicken mole enchiladas, and shredded beef chimichanga and of course the ceviche and a pitcher of margaritas.
I had the most delicious meal! I chose the chicken cream of poblano entree...it was honestly AMAZING! I have been craving it ever since. I also had the pineapple margarita on the rocks which was delicious as well. My husband got the chicken chimi which had super moist and flavorful chicken....so yummy!! I definitely recommend eating here!
Hands down one of the best mexican restaurants i have had since my time living here in scottsdale. which says a lot coming from new mexico who has the best mexican. I got the franks enchiladas plate with a fried egg and ground beef and oh my god it definitely blew my expectations out of the water. Me and my lovely gf will be coming here regularly now.
