Food was tasty, and fresh, service was good and the atmosphere was decent. Sharing those photos here. The second time we went again for brunch, there were a few spots which made me sad many menu items not available which when you start out knowing this it isn't bad, but when you find out when you are getting served the food for your party of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) that one of the children was not getting food with everyone else, because they were out of that item. That's not really how that is supposed to go, it should have been communicated earlier so the poor kid didn't have to sit there and wait for their food while everyone else's had arrived. The drinks are potent and quite good (brunch so hard) the first time the items we ordered were great for sure. Second time did a repeat order of the little tuna tower and the tuna didn't look so healthy (little on the grey side (not pictured, no one else wants to see that) rather than the fresh vibrant color we got on our first visit. I do hope for the best for this small business as I think it may be family run, they have the makings of a destination hangout (though for sure off the beaten path). If they can keep up the consistency of the level of food they are capable of making and communicate early when something isn't available that would be a good direction to keep this place having repeat customers. Best of luck guys! I'm always pulling for cool little places like yours!
Extremely disappointed would be the understatement of the century! The food was good but service was lousy. The waitress was stretched way too thin to provide basic service needed for a party of 10; however, because of their gratuity policy we were forced to tip rather generously. Because the mandated tip is not reflective of our experience I felt taking to social media in an effort to prevent this from happening to another family would be wise. This restaurant served a child (who has a severe nut allergy hazelnut spread on her pancakes. We thought maybe we overlooked this on the menu but confirmed we did not. What should have been chocolate syrup was replaced with hazelnut because [they] ran out. When we finally got our waitresses attention (now mind you, we were out in the parking lot trying to get an Epi pen injected into my niece and there was a very chaotic scenes at our table leading up to this she didn 't seem concerned. In fact, not a single manager or supervisor came out to check on the situation. Once things calmed down, I called the restaurant to discuss the situation. I received a call back from a woman named Sara who left a voicemail offering to refund the entire amount. Although a refund was not my intent I did feel it was the best service recovery option they could offer in an effort to try to make things better. That conversation w/ Sara was on Aug. 6th, and it is now Sept. 14 yet still no refund. I have called back 5 times, and left 3 voicemails. I also emailed twice. Yet still no response. Now, when I go on Yelp it 's says closed. Could it be because someone else reported this issue and they were shut down? This place definitely needs to get their act together. If, by the off chance the company has someone monitoring Yelp reviews, I would appreciate a return call. In the meantime, I will be escalating this up to their owners (MAC Media in order to prevent this very real and scary situation from happening to another family. The outcome could have been so much more tragic than it was, and for that reason alone I am grateful.
Ah, the beers are cold- the food is pretty old. The roll the sandwich was on was stale. The katsu chicken was burned. They don't use ice for water. Service is slow- I bet this is more of a brunch spot- not a dinner place. The IG IS KICKIN it- so we probably came on a stormy night
Was not great and will not be returning. I was excited to go and find a new place to eat near my house. I liked they had brunch and was excited to bring friends for a new brunch spot but as the night went on the experience went south and will no longer make that suggestion to my friends. The service was terrible and 3 tables got their food before us while we already have been there 45/ 1 hour before them. Truly I would never suggest this place.
Location; Alert they are moving, so temporaily closed but a must try once they open back up. Also, they did not have high chairs, so if you plan to bring toddlers make note. Super cute and colorful place. Food; Trang Pie, was beyond delicious roast garlic with everything goodness. Service; Super Friendly.
