Lords - Scottsdale

After a two-hour drive, we were looking forward to enjoying a hearty pub meal. Unfortunately, we chose to stop at the Lord's hotel. We ordered two medium-rare steaks but received two well-done ones instead. That wasn't even the worst part; my partner was really dissatisfied with his steak. We spent $90 on our meal, yet he had to take his plate to the bar himself because no one came to check on us or assist him. The staff seemed indifferent, simply saying “okay” when he handed his plate over. It felt like our 25 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry didn’t matter at all. It seems they prioritize their regulars over everyone else. We ended up driving back to the east coast and enjoyed delicious burgers instead.

I had a rather unremarkable dining experience. The two rissoles were disappointingly small, lacked flavor, and were quite dry. The vegetables served with my wife's meals were either undercooked or overcooked. My seafood basket was alright, featuring two very small fish fillets, two prawns, two boiled calamari, and two scallops. It seemed like the bucket of chips was meant to compensate for the lack of seafood. The salad was just average. I don’t think I will return.

Went to Lords hotel for lunch with my mum. Pleasant pub in a lovely town. I had the Lords hamburger and chips, mum had the roast of the day and we both enjoyed our lunches very much. Service: 5 Location: 5
