The Roxburghe - Scottish Borders

We went for afternoon tea as part of a birthday. It was awful. Service was slow, staff too busy getting ready for another function. 1 hour to get our service and still had to ask where it was. Was answered it was being dealt with. Artisan sandwiches, dreadful, more like sliced bread that had been sitting out too long, edges curled up. We paid £76.00. What a rip off. Don’t bother going here. I did complain to the management and was advised they would look into it.

Lovely suite, great room service food and complimentary gin in room. Breakfast is excellent and vast choice. Booked clay shooting for Sunday morning as enjoyed that so much last stay. Eoin took me through sporting set up and presented some challenging targets, fab session would definitely recommend. Friendly, professional service. Will keep an eye on fishing availability for next season, something to look forward to. Many thanks Eoin.

I recently visited this hotel for the second time and it was truly amazing. The location is great, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff are extremely friendly. This hotel is definitely one that you won't forget. During this visit, we stayed in one of the courtyard rooms which had a very comfortable bed, lots of space, and was conveniently located beside the hotel. If you're up for it, I would recommend trying out the gym which is usually quiet, but has brand new and top quality equipment. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked a winter getaway at this hotel.

During our 3-week driving holiday around the UK, we stayed at the Roxburghe Hotel for one night as part of our visits to 5-star properties. The hotel exceeded our expectations with its beautiful grounds, attentive staff, and overall magnificent property. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. Although we didn't have the chance to use the spa facilities, they looked inviting. We highly recommend the Roxburghe Hotel for a luxurious and enjoyable stay.
