Grill House The - Scott City

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our engagement, and based on previous reviews highlighting their steaks, we were excited to try them out. We ordered 10-ounce ribeye steaks, and they were absolutely delicious! Honestly, they were the best steaks we've had in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised because the restaurant doesn't have an upscale appearance, but the food and service are outstanding! A few days later, we returned for breakfast, which was also fantastic. It's a hidden gem for anyone looking for hot, delicious food!

If you find yourself in this area, you should definitely stop by this restaurant. I've had two meals here, and both times I was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly cooked my food was. The chef really knows his stuff! His wife was warm and welcoming, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. I truly loved my experience here and couldn't get enough of the fantastic flavors. Waited a hour and a half to get food(there was 3 other people there) and when it did come out the forgot the shrimp and green beans for the grill house special. Then, the steak I ordered was supposed to me medium well and came out well done, the server then says “we get that a lot.” So why haven’t you talked to the chef or whoever is back there and asked why he’s cooking food wrong so often. $33 for trash, unbelievable.
