Billy's Boudin Cracklins - Scott

I always make it a point to stop by Billy's whenever I'm in the area. My favorite is definitely the pepper Jack boudin balls, but the egg rolls, boudin links, and everything else on the menu are equally fantastic.

Scott has multiple locations that sell boudin, and this one is definitely among the best. Be sure to try a few boudin balls the next time you visit.

I absolutely loved the Chicken Cracklin! I would trade my oldest child (he’s a little shady, haha) for an unlimited supply. It was so flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and fried to perfection. The shrimp rolls, crawfish rolls, and crawfish boudin were all bursting with flavor—everything we tried was delicious. The rolls featured the holy trinity of ingredients: rice, crawfish, and a blend of seasonings. They also offer shipping, the service was outstanding, and the ambiance had that charming mom-and-pop feel. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back—even if it means trading my son again!

This place is great! Really just a stop in and pick up boudin/sausage and Cracklin shop inside a nice gas station, but no need for anything else!! The fresh hot cracklins and fried boudin balls were freaking awesome!! Service is a bit slow, so plan to be there for a bit if there's a line, but it wasn't terrible and they packed everything up nicely for us. Definitely plan to stop by if you're in the area!!

This is an awesome place. We drive 3 hrs and 45 mins one way a couple of times a year for Billy's Boudin food. We stock up on boudin, sausage, various delicious frozen entree cajun food. We feast on the way home on Cracklins(graton), boudin balls, boudin, fried pies. You will not believe how good this is. Don't be intimidated by the line. It moves very fast. I wish they would open one here. I am telling all of you that like true Cajun S'west Louisiana food. You will not be disappointed. It is worth the drive. there are 2 other locations.
