Scotchwood Diner - Scotch Plains

Feels sort of down atmosphere wise. The food was okay but for the simplicity of the dish I ordered which was an omelet it felt lacking.

Stopped by today with my family. Waited 20 minutes and the waiter never came. I had asked another waiter who our waiter was, and she cut me off. 1st mistake was that, since i asked nicely. Waited a little more, i already knew who the waiter would be since she kept walking past my table. Never acknowledged us . I get it , i work in a busy environment also. But for someone not to even say hey sorry I’ll be right with you is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE . When i got up to question the 2nd time who the waiter was I told the other waiter that her cutting me off the 1st time wasn’t right. The manager or whoever was at the entrance didn’t even care seems like i was talking to the wall. My family and I walked out. When i get to my car I was told by my family member that one of the waiters said i was annoying. Ummm yes i guess you can call me annoying for getting upset after waiting 20 minutes or more. I think anybody would including her.

Was seated and after 15 minutes never got a drink order taken while everyone around us got their order taken, including people who sat after us by 10 minutes. Horrible experience and just walked out.

People should learn how to drive in NJ. They should have to retake their license test every week. It's awful but the food here at this diner if you're willing to risk your life and drive in this state is delicious.

It was a very nice dinner here today . Food and service were excellent!
