The Sandbar, Restaurant

Ally is an amazing bartender. She is accommodating with every request. For such a low key space she went above and beyond.

I had an experience there last Friday night and I've been trying to reach the manager ever since then. I even called after I got home from the bar with your friend he was sitting there called me later and told methane It fell on deaf ears meaning someone who wasn't a manager answered the phone and deleted it I have tried five times since that night to reach the manager and the recording on it says to reach the managing team. Unless I hear back from someone within the next 24 hours I will dispute the charges.

We've been a big fan of the Sand Bar for a long time but I never reviewed them. We had lunch there today and it was great as always. I had Walt's Wings and my wife had the BLT sandwich and both were great. But, what was really great was the service we received from Chris. He was waiting on everyone AND working the bar and everything was done with perfect timing. A great experience on a beautiful day.

Absolute horrible portion size. I ordered chicken tenders for 9$ and got 3 incredibly small nuggetand half a small bag of off brand potato chips. My friend got the tacos and they didn't even get half of the stuff that was said to be on the taco. We got an 8 dollar appetizer of waffle fries and it was not anywhere near worth the money. The service was good but I would never recommend this to my worst enemy. EDIT: it also gave me the runs

A group of 6 of us went here tonight for the first time for drinks, food and music. After the hostess took us to our seats at a picnic table outside the restaurant and left us with menus she didn't say anything else. We sat there for close to 20 minutes waiting to be waited on til we decided to get go in and get drinks at the bar. We come back out and continue to wait for the waitress. Finally the hostess seats another party where in we flag her down to ask if we need to order food at the bar or just keep waiting. Mind you it's been over an hour at this point. She says you can at the bar or if you just wait it may be a bit because they were slammed inside. So already we are put on the back burner to the other customers at the same restaurant. As soon as we get up to go to the bar the waitress comes out. She took our order got our food no problem. Around 9:50 it's just the group of us outside and some kids playing volleyball a fair distance from us and they had been there before we even got there. A POLICE OFFICER approach is and says the manager called him and told him that we were bringing in outside alcohol. All 4 buckets and 6 shots were purchased inside at the bar. We ask him if she meant the volleyball players and he just says she pointed at us. ALL ALCHOL WAS PURCHASED THERE, NO MANAGER OR WAITRESS ASKED US ABOUT OUTSIDE ALCOHOL AND THE MANAGER DIDN'T EVEN COME OUT WITH THE OFFICER TO MAKR SURE IT WAS THE RIGHT GROUP. This is unacceptable management behavior, we left when the officer asked us to but none of us will be returning.
