It seemed they also had boozey slushies. The food truck has a limited menu, but that's ok because the pork tenderloin on the pretzel bun might be the best I've had.
It's a cool place, but a little woke. If you want to be surrounded by pride flags come on in! The slushies are good. The staff is very nice!
Used to be a great bar in a great location in OTR, but toxic management and lazy service has made this place go downhill over the past year or so. I came in with friends and had a minor discrepancy 6 beers that we did not order were on our tab when we were closing out. Seems like a mutually small deal, so I brought it up with the bartender since they weren't very busy. It got escalated to the manager, all of whom acted like I was in the wrong. An extra $36 isn't the end of the world, but the way I was treated during the process was baffling. There are enough cool spots in OTR that I'll no longer waste my time with this place.
I was visiting Cincinnati and had heard great things about this place but was sorely disappointed. The bartenders were rude and inattentive. The bar was grossly unclean. There are many bars in OTR that are much better if visiting Cincy.
We rented a private area with a bar, but upon our arrival, we were unapologetically told that the bar would not be staffed during our party. I guess I was naïve to think that a bar in a bar would actually have a bartender for a private event. Throughout the entire process, we felt poorly treated. The only time we had any interaction was when Morgan, who appeared to be the general manager, mentioned her hangover rather than addressing our needs. Despite having a private party, we received zero service, especially when a bar crawl arrived, making it nearly impossible for anyone to reach the main bar due to the lack of staff. They did warn me about the bar crawl but didn’t seem to prepare for it in any way. I kindly asked the bar staff to charge orders from our party to our primary tab, but they ignored me, which resulted in us not reaching our minimum spend despite our guests spending money individually. After all of this, they charged my card for the required $800 minimum and added a 20% service charge, disregarding the fact that the environment they created made it impossible for us to meet that minimum. To make matters worse, when I tried to voice my concerns to Erica after the party, she dismissed every issue I raised and became angry and accusatory instead of trying to understand my perspective. She said things like, "Why would you assume that a bar at a bar would have a bartender?" and "If your friends put drinks on their own tab instead of yours, that’s your fault." Her attitude was smug and condescending. On a positive note, I did speak with Cambria (apologies if I spelled that wrong), who was genuinely courteous about our experience. I’m not someone who typically complains; in fact, my other reviews are largely positive. I try to use platforms like Yelp to support local businesses. However, the way management at QCR handled our situation was unprofessional and frustrating. QCR can be a fun place to grab a beer before an FC soccer game, but if you’re considering it for anything beyond that, I recommend looking for a venue run by friendly and professional people who care about their patrons. There are plenty of those in Cincinnati, but unfortunately, this isn't one of them.
