We have eaten at the “best” places in Southern Italy and by FAR this was our favorite pasta. Don’t let the simple decor deceive you. This place is legit amazing. Also if you have celiac and are gluten free they can accommodate you beautifully.

LONG LAST! FINALLY a tavern that offers a selection of dishes that respect our peasant tradition. FINALLY a manager who has aimed more at a typical cuisine than at the now cleared cuisine based on fish (there is also one for those who just could not do without it) tourist catchers. OPTIMAL! EXCELLENT the menu that includes our sagas with ricotta scante (sauce with strong ricotta), spaghetti with scattrisciati tomatoes (they are those yellow tomatoes that you see in many photos hanging under the canopies that are preserved like this until winter) on burrata cream, horse meat .... All this and more in case you are not satisfied after the abundant roundup of typical appetizers. Excellent quality-price relation. This and more makes up for a location that does not represent the goodness, quality and love for Salento cuisine found inside.
